Introduction

Manual scan is where INNOBATE AntiVirus scans your computer with its default scan settings. By default, INNOBATE AntiVirus automatically quarantines all files upon detection without user interaction.

Preforming a scan with INNOBATE AntiVirus will scan the following items:-

1. all contents of your computer such as local hard drives
2. all removable storage devices such as floppy disks, DVD drives, CD's and USB keys.

Note: Before you perform a full scan on your computer, please check for available updates to make sure you have the latest virus definition file running.

Instructions

To perform a manual scan:

1. Run INNOBATE AntiVirus.
2. Click the Status tab found on INNOBATE AntiVirus's Dash.
3. Click the button labelled 'Start Scan'.

When scanning has completed, if you would like to view the scan report, click the History Link found on INNOBATE AntiVirus's Dash.
