Introduction

Some viruses are stubbon such as Trojan FakeAV-3272 which do not get deleted when using the delete feature of INNOBATE AntiVirus, this may be due to the infected file being in your temporary internet files folder. The following instructions with guide you on how to still use INNOBATE AntiVirus to delete such trojans and viruses.

Requirements

INNOBATE AntiVirus 1.0.0.7 or greater. Version lesser than 1.0.0.7 do not support the features described within this article.

Instructions

From within the quarantine tab of INNOBATE AntiVirus, right click the mouse on the entry for quarantined file within the Quarantined Files listbox.

From the popup menu select the Open Containing Folder option.

This will now open Folder where the infected file is located within Windows Explorer.

Locate the quarantined infected file within the folder and right click on it.

From the popup menu, select the delete option. This will move the file to your recycle bin.

You can now delete the infected file permanetly by either right click the mouse on the recycle bin of windows and select the Empty Recycle Bin option, as per usual.
