For any .NET framework based solution or application to work on your Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Pocket PC 2003, Windows Pocket PC 2000, Windows Pocket PC 2002 you will need to have the .NET Compact Framework installed. New versions of Windows Mobile 5 and upwards come preinstalled with .NET Compact Framework 2.0.

If you do not have Microsoft .NET Compact Framewore 2.0 pre-installed on your mobile device you will need to download load it and install it. Follow the instructions given below to do this.
Windows Mobile 6 Professional, Standard and Classic devices have Microsoft .NET Compact Framework pre-installed. For older devices you will need to install the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework for our programs to work.
If you are not sure which device you have click the Windows Installer link, the installer will automatically install the correct version of the .NET Compact Framework for your device.

This package uses ActiveSync 4.0 and up to update the device, see the Windows Mobile Center for more information. Be sure to dock your device first before running NETCFSetupv2.msi. If your device is not docked, ActiveSync will store the CAB file until the time when you dock your device. Those not using ActiveSync can run the CAB files which match the device found in the install folder directly on the device.
